Strawn William H., 89. Born December 2, 1912, died peacefully on September 29, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Oas Strawn, and by nieces, Sharon Sandridge and Shirley McEachern, and nephew, Gray McEachern. Born in Willmar, Minnesota, Bill attended the University of Minnesota and served in the U.S. Army in World War II in the European Theater. After returing from the war, Bill decided to follow his interest in stamp collecting and became a stamp dealer, operating the Strawn Stamp Shop in Minneapolis and later in Alexandria, Minnesota for many years. He specialized in new issues and had many customers all over the country. Interment and a graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 3, 2002 at 2 pm.
