Vira Nickerson

Nickerson Vira. Long time resident of Elk River, born 9/28/18. Died 9/22/02. Preceded in death by husbands, D.M. Hedden and Frank Nickerson; parents, Chester and Anna Waite, and her siblings. Vi was active in her church and garden club and enjoyed volunteer work. She retired from Sherburne County at the age of 70. She is survived by son, Gary (Max); daughter, Jan; stepchildren, their spouses and children, grandchildren, their spouses, and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 9/26/2002, 1:30 PM at Union Church in Elk River. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
