Retired United Methodist minister, Heifer International rep, Volunteers of America manager, farmer and active volunteer. Preceded in death by wife of 50 years Dorothy. Survivors include wife, Janice; daughter, Dolores Voorhees; son, John (Susan); grandchildren, Megan Voorhees, Matthew Dunlop, Rachel Voorhees Nudd, Heather Dunlop, Natalie Jacobson-Dunlop; foster son, Jim Conley. Visitation Fri. Nov. 29, 7-9 pm. Memorial Service/reception 2 pm Sat. Nov. 30. St. Francis United Methodist Church, St. Francis, MN (north of Anoka on MN 47). Russell donated his body for medical research. Memorials to Heifer International (heifer .org), IBG Bible Fund (igivebibles.org), Cedar UM Church.
