Mark Jacob Frenz age 50, on September 20 2002 after a courageous 10 year battle with cancer. He is a member of the American Bar Association and was employed by the law firm of Briggs and Morgan in Minneapolis. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Matthew. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Carol; children, Jacob, Jane and Becca; parents, George & Myra Frenz; and in-laws, Raymond & Agnes Berning of St Michael; sisters, Jane (Dave) Kostik, Nancy (Jack) Grace, Ann (John) O'Leary, and Mary (Mathew) Paquette; brothers, Peter (Jeanne), John (Sara), Paul (Rita), Joe (Jodie) and Stephen (Jennifer); sisters-in-law, Monica (Jack) Mueller, Diane Berning, Linda (Hank) VanErp, Joan (Dic) Danielson and Julie Becker; brothers-in-law, Allen (Nancy) Berning, Paul (Kim) Berning, Peter (Lynn) Berning, Larry (Patty) Berning and Dan (Sharon) Berning; also survived by many other loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mark will be remembered most for his love of the outdoors, especially the Boundary Waters and his devotion to his loving wife and children. Funeral leaving from O'HALLORAN & MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 575 S. Snelling Ave, St Paul (651-698-0796) at 1:30 PM, Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial 2 PM, Tuesday, at ST PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Hwys 13 and 55 in Mendota. Visitation 4-8 PM, Monday evening, at the Funeral Home. Interment St Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St Thomas Academy and Convent of the Visitation School.
