Bill Hermel

Hermel Bill, 99, of Aitkin, died Tues., Sept. 17, 2002 in the Riverwood Health Care Center, Aitkin. He was born Sept. 15, 1903 in Waterville to Adolph and Emma (Schmidt) Hermel. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Fred, Ida Vanguilder, Kate Kaupa-Blastervold, Lydia Fisher, Nora Fritz, Augusta Brooks, Emma Wilkes and his parents. Bill is survived by his wife, Florence; five children; and twelve grandchildren. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the 1:00 PM Sat., Sept. 21 Funeral Service in First Lutheran Church, Aitkin. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery, Wahkon. Arrangements are by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin.
