Kovach Lud, age 87, of Bloomington, died Sept. 15, 2002. A Master Plumber he retired from Rosemount Engineering after 15 years. He was a trumpet player for the Melodians. Preceded in death by first wife, Lucille; and step-daughter, Ann. Survived by wife of 20 years, Mary; his children, Lucille (Curt) Nelimark, Janet (Michael) Espinosa, Luddy (Cindy) Kovach, Roberta (Doug) Scott, Ruth (Paul) Laursen; step-children, Dr. Paul (Natasha) Trogen, Mark Trogen, Mary Pat Trogen, David (Elaine) Trogen, Lawrence (Toni) Trogen, JoAnne (Craig) Kohls; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
