George W. Grannan

Grannan 12/28/13 - 9/14/02 George W. Grannan, previously of Terre Haute, IN and most recently of Huntsville, AL died Saturday in Bloomington, MN. He was 88. He was employed with Chrysler Corp, Missile Division, in Huntsville and supported various aerospace missions for the USA. He retired in 1980. Survivors include his son, Donn (Susie) Grannan of Bloomington; his daughter, Janice Grannan (John) Milewicz of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren, John (Lisa) Grannan, Donn Paul Grannan, Maribeth (Chris) Smythe, Mark (Liz) Milewicz, Todd (Mindy) Milewicz, Chad (Samantha) Milewicz, Cheryl (Jeff) Stone, Donna Milewicz and Kyle Milewicz; three great-grandchildren, Karly and Christian Smythe and Tyler Milewicz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zada Grannan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9/18 at 3:30 pm from St Joseph's Catholic Church with Spry Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens. A very special thanks from the family to Dr. Gary Ivins and the staff of Fairview Southdale Hospital and especially the outstanding staff at the Presbyterian Care Center in Bloomington.
