Judkins Eleanora (Nora) Viola, born April 12, 1924 in Bellegrove, PA, passed away September 10, 2002 at her home surrounded by loving family members after a two and a half year struggle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by her husband, Phil Judkins; son-in-law, Jerry Ragner; her parents, John and Viola Bellach; and her first husband, Henry Reiss. She is survived by daughters, Ruth Ragner, Deanna and Ken Matheson, Darlene and Curt Johnson; step-children Larry Judkins and Beverly Reeves and their families; grandmother to Jon and Laurie Ragner, Jennifer Ragner, Michael and Susan Matheson, Troy and Beth Johnson, Marni and Scott Nelson, Trevor and Laurie Johnson, Randy and Trisha Ragner, Tricia and Shaun Woodhams, Joey Ragner and Liz Hauser, and Tadd and Colleen Johnson. Known as Gigi (great-grandmother) to Amber Leibrich, Jessica Ragner, twins Megan and Erica Ceragioli, Marisa Matheson, Andrew Matheson, Robbie Wudele, Brook Woodhams, Mackenzie Johnson, Emma Ragner, Ian Johnson, Josh Ragner, Madison Woodhams, Tucker Johnson, Sam Ragner and Jada Ragner. Survived also by sisters, Helen Kemble, Ruth Sjerven, Pat and John Zart; brothers, August Bellach, LeRoy Bellach, and last but not least, her constant companion and friend Spanky, her poodle. Nora is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and South Dakota. Our special thanks to HHH Cancer Center, Dr. Tim Larson and Heather Pepper for the excellent care and time spent with our Mother and Drs. Tom and Jim Gwyn for their continual loving care and friendship. Thanks also to North Hospice Team of valuable and caring employees for their support and care given over the past six weeks. Funeral service Fri. 2 PM at Salem Convenant Church, Silver Lake Road and 5th Street, New Brighton. Visitation Thurs. 5-8 PM at the Gearhart Chapel, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, and 1 hour prior to services Fri. at the church. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens.
