The Rev. Fred E. Ringham, age 78, of Minneapolis, of complications resulting from a fall. Preceded in death by his first wife, Marian, and by infant sons, Fred and Paul. Survived by his wife, Norma; sister, Connie Mahn and her husband Charles; daughters, Kathy Teigland and Jody Ronsheim, and their husbands Bruce Teigland and Paul Ronsheim; his son, Eric; as well as seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild on-the-way. An ordained minister for 51 years, Fred served parishes in Pennsylvania and Ohio before returning to his native Minnesota, where he served at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Roseville and Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in Northeast Minneapolis. As a board member at Northwestern Seminary, he helped lead the way to Northwestern's merger with Luther Theological Seminary. Memorials are preferred to Luther Seminary, 2481 Como Ave. SE, St. Paul 55108. Service 11 a.m. Wednesday (TODAY) at University Lutheran Church of Hope, 601 13th Av SE, Minneapolis.
