Mary Catherine McNellis

McNellis Mary Catherine, 83, passed away peacefully Sept. 9 at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood. Prior to death, she lived at St. Andrew's Village in Mahtomedi. She died as she lived, with grace and dignity. She was much loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Born Sept. 22, 1918 in Detroit Lakes, she began her 49-year teaching career in Thief River Falls. In 1989, she retired from White Bear High School, where she taught business subjects for 32 years. Visitation Wed., Sept. 11, 5-8 pm at Honsa Family Funeral Home, 2460 E. Cty Road E, White Bear.
