Deveny Richard J. ``Dick'', age 49, of Mound. Loving father, husband, son, brother and friend, died suddenly on Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 of acute leukemia surrounded by his loving family and friends. Dick was an avid youth coach and boat enthusiast whose first priority was always his family. Preceded in death by his son, Billy; sister, Susan & mother, Helen. Survived by wife, JoAnn; son, Danny; father, Frank Deveny; sister, Diane (Jim) Sarosiek; brother-in-law, Jed; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Jen & Joe Kuzma; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Jeanne & Dave Anderson, Tom & Kathy Kuzma, Kathy & Joe Grafft, Theresa & Bill Nyberg, Jennifer & Walter Adamczeski, and numerous nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 at 11 am, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd., Mound (952-472-1284) Visitation Sunday, 6- 8 pm, Huber Funeral Home, 1801 Commerce Blvd., Mound. Visitation also one hour prior to the Mass on Monday at the church. Interment Union Cemetery, Mound.
