DeWitt Lawrence E., age 84, of Mpls on Aug. 29, 2002. Preceded in death by wife, Vivian; grandson, Steven Haycraft; great-grandson, Zachary Williams; sister, Lillian Campian; brothers, Wesley, Everett, Stanley, Howard, and Russell. Survived by son, Lawrence F. (Donna); daughters, Germaine DeWitt and Sandra (Tom) Haycraft; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Retired furrier with a large customer following. Avid sportsman and sports fan. Funeral service Friday, 11 am at North United Methodist Church, 4350 Fremont Av N, Mpls. Visitation Thursday (TODAY), 5-8 pm at the Crystal Lake Funeral Home, Corner of Penn and Dowling Aves N, Mpls, and 1 hr prior to service at church. Private interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
