Larkin Louise Morrell Larkin Longtime resident of Edina, MN. Born October 1, 1911, in Arlington, NJ, passed away August 14, 2002, in Stanwood, WA after suffering a stroke. Married Alfred R.W. Larkin and settled in North Arlington, NJ. In 1954 moved with her family to Edina, MN. Involved in bowling and golf leagues, the Winnebahr Garden Club, and United Methodist Women. Summer vacations near the ocean at Sea Girt, NJ. In 1999, Louise and her husband moved to Stanwood, WA and resided at Warm Beach Senior Community Health Care Center. Preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Morrell and Ethel Morrell Burckett; and husband, Alfred R.W. Larkin. Survived by three children & spouses, Judith and Robert Burkhart of Stanwood, WA; David and Merry Larkin of Waupun, WI and Edward (Ted) and Karen Larkin of Edina, MN; three grandchildren, John Larkin of Waupun, WI, Jed (wife, Beth) Larkin of Minneapolis, MN, and Kaylee Larkin of Edina, MN; and two nieces, Phyllis Burckett Ulicny (husband, Walter) of Summit, NJ and Gail Burckett Brandt (husband, Bill) of Laguna Hills, CA. Louise was looking forward to her first great-grandchild, Julia Elizabeth Larkin, who is being adopted from Guatemala. A memorial service for Louise and Alfred Larkin will be held at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, Edina, MN on September 8 at 2 PM; with interment in the Peace Garden following the service. Memorial gifts may be made to the Warm Beach Health Care Center, Stanwood, WA or Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, Edina, MN Memorial Fund.
