Erickson Leon E., of Columbia Heights, passed away suddenly on August 20, 2002 at the age of 88 years. Preceded in death by wife, Esther. Survived by son, Michael & wife Susan; daughters, Janice & husband Till, Nancy Robinson & husband David, Wendy Beck & husband Gary; grandchildren, Scott Foster, Lori Porter, Justin Robinson, Melinda Beck and Nicole Beck; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Mandy Porter, Brandyn Foster; sister, Isabel Erickson; other relatives & special friends. 40+ year employee of Mobil Oil Co. and veteran of WWII. Memorial service 11 am Friday, St. Phillip's Lutheran Church, 6180 NE Hwy 65, Fridley. Gathering 1/2 hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment.
