M. Marie (Duff) Weld

Weld M. Marie (Duff) Weld Born at home on August 10, 1925 in Trempleau County, WI. Died at home on August 16, 2002 in Minnetonka, MN of breast cancer. She is now able to join hands with her daughter, Mary Liz Weld, who preceded her in death on December 19, 1983 at the age of 22 of streptococcal septicemia in Denver, CO. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Grover of Galesville, WI; son, Paul Weld of Minnetonka, MN and her daughters, Ann McGowan of Fresno, CA, Judy Schmidt of Missoula, MT, and Jill Di Loreto of Minnetonka, MN. A private gathering was held. Memorials may be sent to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum at 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chanhassen, MN 55317 (952) 443-2460. We are very thankful for the help of the Methodist Hospital Hospice & all her guardian angels who made it possible to sustain her quality of life and to die with dignity in the comfort of her own home.
