Jeanne DuBois Davidson
Davidson Jeanne DuBois Davidson passed away on August 16, 2002. She was born March 31, 1917 in Conrad, Montana to Dr. and Mrs. W.L. DuBois. She attended Carleton College and the University of Minnesota, graduating with a B.A. degree. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. In 1940 she married Dr. G.J. Davidson and moved to LaCrosse, Wisconsin. In 1945 she moved to Albert Lea, Minnesota. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, American Association of University Women, YM-YWCA, and the Albert Lea Country Club. Community activities included Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, Board member and also President of Family Y, Secretary and later President of Naeve Hospital Board of Trustees, and Director of Norwest Bank. In 1981 she moved to Sun City, Arizona where she was a member of Union Hills Country Club, Secretary of Art Museum League, Volunteer at Boswell Hospital, and Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging). Hobbies included golf (two holes-in-one), bridge, and interior decorating. She is survived by two sons, Gary (Karen) of Minneapolis and Mark (Mary Anne) of Dallas; two granddaughters, Lisa (Ryan) Tibbits and Kristin Davidson; one great-grandson; step-sister, Nancy Kellogg of Kalispell, Montana; three nephews; and an extended family of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Memorials to the American Lutheran Church or the West Valley Art Museum in Surprise, Arizona.
