Mary Jane Reed

Reed Mary Jane of Edina died in her sleep early Saturday morning at Redeemer Residence in Mpls where she was an Alzheimer's patient for several years. She is survived by her brother-in-law, George Klein; nieces, Katherine Conrad, Peggy Klein Keefe, Jennifer Klein and Heidi Klein, Debbie Jensen, Theresa Mills of Houston, TX and nephew, Tom Reed Jr.; great-nieces, Sara Keefe and Tara Ritchie and many friends. Mary Jane was an active and enthusiastic kindergarten teacher in the Mpls public schools, where she also developed curriculum and worked as a mentor for new teachers. Her enjoyment of bridge, golf, and music was shared by her many friends. A memorial service for Mary Jane will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina. Details to be announced later.
