Katherine M. (Kate) Shaw

Shaw Katherine (Kate) M., age 44, of Hopkins. Beloved daughter, sister and friend passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002. Survived by mother, Sally Shaw; father, Charles (Diane) Shaw; sisters, Suzie (Aaron) Blackman, Kelly (Mark) Hall, Julia Shaw; brothers, Kevin Shaw, Daniel Shaw; cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and many other relatives and friends. Kate was a gifted writer who used the written word to share her love, joy, humor, and hope. Kate was a truly selfless person. She asked for nothing for herself, often giving when it meant that she would later have to do without. Kate will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We take solace in the fact that Kate will be reunited with her loving grandmother, Laura Rude. The family would like to sincerely thank Vail Place for the love and support provided to Kate.
