Smothers Viola I., age 94, of Crystal, died Aug. 8, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Leonard; son, Roland; grandson, Michael; brothers, Marvin & Leonard; sisters, Thelma & Beatrice; and daughter-in-law, Janet. Survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Jerry & Joan, David & Cathie; daughter & son-in-law, Dianne & Jim Johnson; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service Monday 11 AM at Elim Lutheran Church, 40th & West Broadway, Robbinsdale. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
