Stone, Byron E. 78, of Beverly Hills, FL, died June 8, 2006. He was born Sept. 3, 1927, in Minneapolis to Erling & Mildred Stone. Due to family illness, he was raised by his aunt and uncle, Margith and Ingvald Natland. He managed the family business, Lake Street Upholstering. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during World War II and moved to Beverly Hills from Richfield in 1991. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Hernando, FL. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Lorraine Walker (James), Mildred (Natland) Carlson, and Ruby Hendershot. Survived by wife of 51 years, Margaret; sons, Bruce (Cynthia) of Charlotte, NC, and Jon (Jennifer) of Carver; sisters, Karen Roerig (Dennis) of Maple Grove, and Amy Brower of Burnsville; five grandchildren, Stephen, Stephanie, and Jason Stone of Charlotte, and Isabel and William Stone of Carver; also by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Sept. 27, 2006.
