Irene Hoyt

Hoyt Irene, age 74, passed away 8/2/02. Born in Long Prairie to Hjalmer and Mary Sternquist. Irene was a waitress for more than 30 years in San Francisco, Portland, OR, and Mpls. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Richard Hoyt; and husband, John Hite; brother, Ivan Sternquist; sister, Beatrice Teetzel; and niece, Lynn Kelly. Survived by sister, Elsie O. Nelson of Mpls; aunt, Judy Macey of Pendelton, OR; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends. ``Irene, you left this earth for a more peaceful place, but you will live in our hearts forever.''
