Johnston, Judge James (Jimmy) Age 78 of Plymouth, MN and Naples, FL passed away Aug. 10 in Naples with his devoted wife by his side. Jim will always be known as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, he will be deeply missed. Jim wore many hats in life as a U of MN Law school graduate, Attorney, Henn. Cty. District Court Judge, US Amateur and lifelong competitive golfer, founding member of Professional Ski Instructors of America and longtime Theodore Wirth Ski School Director, avid reader, card player and dancer. Jimmy liked to have fun! Preceded in death by parents, Louis and Anne Johnston and grandson, Brandon Johnston. He is survived by loving wife, Sandra and her family; children, Jay (Sheila); Holly (Brad) Brezinka; grandchildren, Cordell and Siri; sister, Luanne Crump; first wife, Andrea Horstman; many other family and friends. Memorial Service Tues. Aug. 22 at 11:00 with visitation one hour prior at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Excelsior, MN 952-474-8893. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society or SIDS Center, Mpls.
