Albert 'Bert' Mantei

Mantei, Albert "Bert" Age 72, of Crystal, passed away May 26, 2015. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Bob and Jackie. Survived by wife of 50 years, Faye; daughter, Melenie Simonson; son, Michael (Deanna); grandchildren, Tyler and Madelyne; brother, Ed (Betty); special pal, Boo Bear; many nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives. Albert was born on July 4, 1942 in Manistique, Michigan and lived in Engadine, MI until 1963 before moving to Minneapolis. Albert joined the Crystal Jaycees in 1968, served on the Crystal Fire Dept. for 12 years, and worked as a Paramedic and Supervisor for 28 years at HCMC. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Church of St. Raphael 7301 Bass Lake Rd. in Crystal. Visitation 4-7 PM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel and 1 hour prior to Mass at church Tuesday. Private interment.
