FitzGerald Nancy Ann FitzGerald (nee Day), age 70, of Mpls, passed away August 19, 2003. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis. An entrepreneur, Nancy owned and operated antique stores in south Mpls in the 1960s and moved on to renovating residential properties. For much of her life, she was an active political volunteer. A graduate of Holy Angels, she treasured lifelong friendships with classmates. Nancy was especially loved for her wit, her independence, her feistiness, wisdom, kindness and generosity. Survived by daughters, Shawne (John Norblom), Kathleen (Dave Hitchcock), Sharron (Randy Herman); son, Rick (Pauline) FitzGerald; grandchildren, Sue Christensen, Jose James, Michael, Kerry and Lisa Herman, and Devon and Colin FitzGerald; great-grandson Gibraun; sister, Barbara Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
