Galbraith William A., 72, in his home on 7/29/02 peacefully moved on to a new life. He will be greatly missed by wife, Jane; children, Alison (Jeff) Brown, Laura (Peter) Christensen, and Dan (Heidi) Galbraith; grandchildren, Maya, Cole, Carter, Lincoln, Brady, Wil, and Truman; brother, Edward Galbraith; faithful dog, Yancey. Following Army service he worked as a baseball umpire, a mutual fund sales representative, and for 31 years as a court reporter. Bill had great love for life, family, sports, golf and people. He was a man of conviction and strong beliefs centered around peace, justice, honor, spirituality and balance. He will be greatly missed, but his teachings and fond memories will live on. Special thanks to Dr. Randy Hurley and the Hospice of the Lakes team for help with Bill's prostate cancer treatment. Join us in a celebration of his life at the Cremation Society of Minnesota (952-924-4100), 7110 France Ave. So., Edina, on Saturday 8/3; visitation at 10:30 am, memorial service at 11 am, followed by reception. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Carter Center, Habitat for Humanity, or Hospice of the Lakes.
