Tarasczuk Wolodymira (Diaczun), age 84, of Mpls, MN, died at home on July 28, 2002 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Dmytro; daughters, Wolodymyra and Christina; son-in-law, David; sister-in-law, Anna and other relatives in Canada and Ukraine. She was preceded in death by her sister, parents and brother. She was born June 6, 1918 in Lysychynci, Ukraine. As a refugee from WWII, she came to America and settled in Mpls in 1947. She continued her education at the University of MN and graduated from the School of Pharmacy in 1957. During her career as a pharmacist, she worked at several hospitals and clinics throughout the Twin Cities, finally retiring from Hennepin County Medical Center in 1984. In retirement, she discovered a passion for painting. Special thanks to Nurse Marilyn and staff at MAO Senior Services and Olga for all their care, kindness and support. Funeral Friday, 9:30 am from the Kapala-Glodek NE Chapel, 230 13th Ave NE, Mpls. Divine Liturgy 10 am, St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church, 515 University Ave NE. Interment Chicago, IL.
