Herman L. Thissen

Thissen Herman L., 65, of Bloomington, formerly of Blooming Prairie, MN, died Saturday morning, July 6, 2002 at his home in Bloomington. Herm is survived by his wife, Milly Thissen of Bloomington; two brothers, Frank (Barbara) Thissen Jr. of Lakeville and Christopher (Janet) Thissen of Austin; three sisters, Mollie (Donald) MacEachern of Mpls, Myrtle (Ken) Shimota of Fargo, ND and Mary (Michael) West of Akron, OH; 14 nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 am Friday, July 12, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Newry Township, rural Blooming Prairie, MN, with Father Thien Nguyen officiating. Visitation at Werness Brothers Funeral Home, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington (952-884-8145) on Wed., July 10 from 5 to 8 pm and at the Worlein-Blooming Prairie Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie on Thursday, July 11 from 5 to 8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
