Olson, Carl A. Age 84, of Crystal, died Tuesday 3/24. Preceded in death by parents, Karl A. and Ruth Ann Olson. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Muriel; daughter, Lisa of Plymouth; sons, Ed (Kelly) of Lake Elmo and Tom (Carrie) of Ramsey; grandchildren, Matt (Kelly), Dustin, Preston, Hannah, Eddie, and Tommy; great-grandchild, Brooklyn; and sister, Rosalyn Bird. Carl was born Dec. 11, 1930 in Los Angeles. He went on to graduate from St. Thomas College in 1954 and married Muriel Dec. 31, 1955. Carl was a teacher and drama director at Shakopee High School for 36 years, retiring in 1993. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, March 30 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 8701 36th Ave N. New Hope. Visitation beginning 9:30 AM at church.
