Evelyn Holasek

Holasek Evelyn Holasek, of Fort Collins, CO, died at the age of 99 years. She was born in Hopkins, MN, to Stanley and Petrolina Svec, and lived almost all of her life in Eden Prairie. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife and grandmother, and is held in fondest memory by all who knew her. Evelyn was preceded in death by husband, Richard, all of their siblings and spouses, and all members of her Hopkins High School class of 1921. Following her high school graduation, Evelyn attended the Minneapolis Business College and worked as a secretary in Minneapolis until her marriage to Richard Holasek in 1924. She then farmed with him in Eden Prairie until their retirement. She enjoyed the outdoors and shared her love of learning with those around her. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Janet Worrall (and husband Arthur) of Fort Collins, CO, and Dorothy Barrett of North Mankato, MN; and 5 grandchildren, Timothy (and wife Tamara), Thomas and Beth Worrall and Geoffrey and Anne Barrett (and fiance Wade DeArmond). A private memorial service and burial will be held.
