Lund-White (Carlson) Sandra Irene, age 62, having succumbed to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) after a year and a half, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2002. She is remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife and friend. While her virtues were many, we hold her patience at the top. She always had time to listen and kept her advice until it was asked for. She was deeply dedicated to her family, friends and coworkers, always placing others before her self. She held a strong work ethic demonstrated during her 42 years at (Northwestern National, Norwest and Wells Fargo) Bank. She will be remembered for her kindness, gentleness, and giving. These were the principles by which she led her life. She inspired these principles in others through example, never imposing her opinions. She left wanting us to know that we all have time to do something meaningful in life. Survived by husband, Merle White; children, Scott and Robin Lund, Elizabeth and Tim Rogers, and Rick Lund; grandchildren, Michael, Mallory, Eric, Kristine, Meghan, and Morgan; stepchildren, Jennifer and Trevor Larson, Angela and Michael Nielsen, and Marc White; grandchildren, Sean, Lindsey, and Ryan, Rodney Lund and Nettie Lund. She will be deeply missed by all those she touched in this life. Our family would like to express sincere thanks to our friends and the people of North Hospice for their kindness and support throughout Mom's illness. Memorials preferred to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Minnesota. Memorial Service to be held 7 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100). Visitation will be 1 hour before service at the same address.
