Elaine D. Rukes

Rukes Elaine D., nee Jensen, passed away June 13, 2002 at Bethesda Rehabilitation Hospital. Born February 3, 1924 in Superior, WI. Beloved wife and mother. Preceded in death by son, Richard. Survived by husband of 55 years, Donald; sons, Steven (Robin) and Peter (Linda); 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters; dear friend, Margaret Virum and many friends. Elaine served in the Women's Army Corps from 1943 to 1944. She was loved and will be missed by many. She will be cremated by her request and buried at a later date at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
