L'Allier Roland O., age 92, of St. Paul, formerly Afton, died June 11, 2002. Born March 2, 1910 in Somerset, WI. Roland attended St. Lawrence College and the University of Montreal. Member of the Knights of Columbus-4th Degree. He was the Legal Attache in Paris from 1951-1959 and was the former director of President Herbert Hoover's Presidential Library, West Branch, Iowa. Roland retired in 1962 as a special agent with the F.B.I. Preceded in death by wife, Charlotte. Survived by children, Michael (Veronica), Roland (Robyn), Monique (Robert) Bergin and Jean Louis (Helen); grandchildren, Brooks, Hilary and Jack L'Allier, and Anna Rendell-Baker; sisters-in-law, Mildred L'Allier of Somerset, WI and Jacqueline Larman of Montreal. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 17 (11 AM) at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Somerset, WI. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment St. Anne's Cemetery.
