Carol Jean (McCann) Frey

Frey (nee McCann) Carol Jean, age 58, of Roseville, died at home surrounded by her family June 9, 2002. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard & Lorna. Survived by her daughters, Tammy Frey & Steve Burke of Inver Grove Heights, Tracy Frey & husband Ambrosio Maldonado of McAllen, TX and Carrie Frey of Roseville; brothers, Jim and John McCann; niece, April; nephews, Dana and Jake, and longtime friend, Ann Green. Carol most recently was the president of the New Brighton/Mounds View Chamber of Commerce. Carol was named Woman in Leadership in 2000, received the Spurgeon Award for Community Service from the Indianhead Boy Scout Council in 1999 and was president of the Minnesota Association of Volunteer Directors, 1996-1997. Carol was involved in many civic and community organizations throughout the years. Please join family & friends for a celebration of Carol's life Thursday, June 13, 4 pm at Easter Lutheran Church at the intersection of Pilot Knob & Diffley Rd., Eagan. Reception celebration immediately following service of prayer and remembrance. Donations may be made to the family, which will be forwarded to the MN ALS Assoc., University of MN MDA Clinic, and Allina Hospice.
