Kari Anne Flessland

Flessland Kari Anne Flessland, age 7, of Hutchinson, MN. Kari died peacefully June 8, 2002, at home, surrounded by family and dear friends following a two year battle with brain cancer. Preceded in death by grandmother, Irma Flessland. Survived by loving parents, Carol and Larry Flessland, formerly of St. Paul; siblings, Kristin, Tom and Paul; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Eng and husband Ray; maternal grandfather, Bjarne Kristiansen and wife LuAnne; paternal grandfather, Christian Flessland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to the Hemotology/Oncology Clinic at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis and oncologist, Dr. Anne Bendel, nurse practitioner, Linda Madson, and nurse, Lee Lebaron. Visitation Tuesday June 11, 2002, from 5 to 8 PM at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel, 400 Glen St. S., Hutchinson, or one hour before funeral service at church. Funeral will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at 11 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 335 Main St. S., Hutchinson. Memorials preferred to Kari's Pink Memorial Garden or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
