James Bertha C., 6/7/1903 - 6/7/2002, of Elk River, passed away on her 99th birthday. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John; daughter, Ruth; son, Duane; 1 grandson; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother and 6 sisters. Survived by brothers, Walter (Lucille) and Harry; children, Kenneth (Beatrice), Mildred (Kenny), Neal (Alice), Clyde (Sharon), Willard (Carol), Jeanette, Donna, Bonnie (Don), Diann (Jerry) and Roger (Michelle). She had 190 descendants; 12 children, 46 g.c., 99 g.-g.c. and 33 g.-g.-g.c. Funeral Services 10:30 AM Tues. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (1506 Main St., Elk River). Visitation 5-8 PM TODAY at Dare's Funeral Home (805 Main St., Elk River, 763-441-1212) and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment Orono Cemetery.
