Phyllis Virginia Mallberg

Mallberg Phyllis Virginia Mallberg, 86, of Adel, IA died of pneumonia on July 12, 2003 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born Phyllis Nielsen on June 25, 1917 in Cumberland, WI and has lived in Meza, AZ and St. Paul, MN. She graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree at the University of Minnesota and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by two sons, Dean A. Jr. of Cavecreek, AZ, Mike of Adel, IA; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Paul Nielsen of Jackson, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean; and 2 sisters. Private family burial will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial in St. Paul, MN.
