Olav H. Sathermyr

Sathermyr Olav H., 91 of Rice Lake, WI formerly of Robbinsdale, MN died Thursday June 6, 2002 at Heritage Manor in Rice Lake. He was born on January 21, 1911 in Minneapolis, MN and lived in Romsdal, Norway until age 19. He was employed by General Mills, FMC Corp. and Kurt Mfg. Olav Sathermyr is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Marlys & William Balch of Deerfield, OH and Shirley & Marvin Peterson of Rice Lake; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle in 2000, to whom he was married for 67 years. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 10, 2002 at Elim Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale, MN, with interment in the Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Visitation from 10-11 AM Monday at the church. Memorials to Elim Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
