Nancy Marlys Barker
Barker (nee Walstrom, Habiger) Nancy Marlys Barker, formerly of Minneapolis and Anoka, MN. Born May 24, 1937 in Minneapolis to Arnold and Eloise Habiger. Died in Mesa, AZ on July 3, 2003. Beloved wife of Jack D. Barker. Cherished mother of Wendie Lapham (Mike), Curt Walstrom (Lynn), Tammy Siebert (Brian), Scot Walstrom, and Kelly Stromquist (Chris). Adored by ten grandchildren,Tera, Tina, Ryan, Leigh, Trevor, Jacob, Kyle, Jackie, Evan and Becca. Survived by siblings, Delores Berg, Francis (Butch) Habiger, and Georgia Cirksena. Former employee of the Cornelius Company. Mom was independent, plainspoken, and always said precisely what was on her mind. Her un- yielding spirit lives on in her children and grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 11 AM, with visitation one hour prior at the Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel. A celebration of Nancy's life will follow the service at the home of Chris and Kelly Stromquist, 950 Black- oaks Lane, Anoka, MN. Memorials preferred to the family in lieu of flowers.
