Dr. Marmion W. (Marm) Houglum

Houglum Dr. Marmion W. (Marm) age 87, died on Apr. 16, 2002, Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Wayzata. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth. Survived by cousins, Audre Houglum Rusness, Andre (Emily) Houglum; niece, Joyce Pederson; also his loving caregiver, Donna Ford Vierow and many friends. Marm sang with Fred Waring Glee Club. He went to MacPhail School of Music then enlisted with the Coast Guard. In 1950, received his D.D.S. degree from the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota and went on to practice periodontics. Practiced in the Medical Arts Bldg for 27 years. He joined a Group Health Organization then retired in 1980 and moved to Florida Sept. 1993. A Memorial Service was held at his home in Florida Apr. 23, 2002. Graveside service will be held Friday, June 21, 1:30 pm at the Lakewood Cemetery.
