Zitur Marguerite Theresa (Francois), age 61, of Independence, Missouri and formerly of Buffalo. Born August 21, 1941 in St. Paul. Died July 2, 2003 in Independence, Missouri. She suffered from multiple sclerosis and kidney failure and was hospitalized at the time of her death. Marguerite attended St. Augustine's grade school, Cathedral High School and graduated from Miller Hospital School of Nursing. She later attended St. Benedict's College for 2 years. Married David Zitur February 11, 1961 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Cloud. God blessed their marriage with 4 sons. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and one of her hobbies was travel. In pursuit of that hobby, she was able to visit many parts of the world and all 50 states. Marguerite also enjoyed cruises and through that was able to learn about different areas of the world. Survived by her husband, David Zitur; sons, Rory Zitur of Buffalo, David (Cheryl) Zitur Jr. of Corcoran and Randall Zitur of Eagan; a daughter-in-law, Diane of White Bear Lake; grandchildren, Susannaha, Anne Marie, Zachary, Christopher, Jonathon, Benjamin, Jessica & Nicole; her mother, Mary B. Francois of Omaha, NE; 2 sisters, Pat (Scott) Henderson of Houston, TX & Joan (Robert) Johnson of Omaha, NE; 3 brothers, John Francois of St. Cloud, William Francois of Houston, TX & James Francois of St. Cloud; brothers-in-law, Ray (Donna) Zitur of El Paso, TX, Jerome (Eilene) Zitur of Billings, MT; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Winkleman of Osseo, Shirley (Frank) Barnard of Battle Creek, MI, Carole (Wilfred) Justin of Rice & Jane (Ben) Hawkins of Tucson, AZ; along with a multitude of nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by a son, Keith in 1987; and by her father, Sylvester J. Francois in 1980. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Monday, Church of St. Francis in Buffalo.
