Colin Michael Ewers

Ewers Colin Michael Ewers, age 21, of Bloomington, MN. Died tragically on June 21, 2003 in Puerto Rico. Colin was a student at Carleton College working as a visiting scientist on assignment with his professor at Arecibo Observatory (National Astronomy & Ionosphere Center). The Arecibo Observatory is operated by Cornell University in conjunction with the National Science Foundation. He graduated with highest honors from Bloomington Kennedy, Class of 2000. Survived by his parents, Blaine and Claudia of Bloomington; his sister, Bronwyn Elizabeth of Roseville; and favorite buddy, his dog, Gnu. Also, grandmothers, Bernice Pierce and Artys Ewers, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial Service Saturday, July 5, at 2 PM at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Mpls, with gathering from 1 PM until time of service. WERNESS BROTHERS 952-884-8145
