Lucille May (Tilly) Krone

Krone Lucille May (Tilly), age 83, of Brainerd, formerly of Crystal, MN, passed away peacefully June 29, 2003, surrounded by her family at Wellstead of Rogers. Preceded in death by husband, Harlan (Sam) of 62 years of marriage and her beloved son, Harlan Charles Krone Jr. (Lonnie); parents, Axel and Effie Swanson; brothers, Mel, Bill, Dale, Kenny and Harry; sisters, Dolly, Gladys and Elaine. Survived by her loving family: daughters, Carol (Jim) Granlund, Denise (John) Neznik; grandchildren, Scott (Chris) Granlund, Kelli (Jim) Wick, Jolie Granlund and Rodrigo Estrada, Kari (Ron) Cossette, Kami (Stan) Miskiw and Kole Neznik; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Joe Wick, Ryan and Kyle Granlund, Isabelle Estrada and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and grand-dogs. Lucille will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest passion in life was taking care of her family and home. She devoted 2+ years to taking care of her comatose son with unwavering hope and faith. Also, she gave her time as a volunteer at Martin Luther King Nursing Home of Bloomington. She had many other great skills such as cooking and crocheting which family and friends reaped great benefits. In her last 10 years on Round Lake, she enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and the squirrels. We all cherished her spunk and strong will. She will be deeply missed by all. Our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the earth-angel caregivers at Wellstead, who compassionately cared for Lucille in her last year. Funeral service Wednesday, 6 PM with visitation from 4:30-6 PM at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 37th Ave North & Vicksburg Lane. Private interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
