Nelson Joy Stanley, age 76, on June 29, 2003. Avid gardener and CNW Railroad retiree. Preceded in death by parents, Jens & Borghild; son, LCpl Vernon Lee; brother, Kermit; faithful dog, Lutefisk. Survived by wife, LaVerne; children, Keith, Ron (Bonne), Cheryl (Loren) Davis, Adriana (Simone) Simoncici; grandchildren, Ron D. (Kari), and Nikki (Andy) DeMar; great-grandchildren, Josie and Jessie; brothers, Norval (Helen), and Walter (Maxine); sister, Eleanor (Orville) Wittner. Also survived by other relatives and friends. A longtime member of Ancient Landmark No. 5 AF & AM. A lifetime member of I.B.E.W. A Celebration of Life Thursday, 11 AM at NEW LIFE CHURCH OF WOODBURY, 6758 Bailey Rd, Woodbury.
