Sjowall Franz Sjowall, Edina, passed away peacefully on June 26 at the age of 94. Franz was and educator and a pioneer in aviation. He was a barnstorming pilot during the 1920's and 1930's and taught aircraft mechanics to hundreds of students. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adelaide; his parents, Per and Breata Sjowall; brothers, Arthurs and Silas Sampson; Alfred, Elmer and Oscar Sjowall and sister, Ann Rosvold. He is survived by his nephews, Richard and Rockney Sjowall and nieces, Ann (Jay) Boekhoff, Joy (Bob) Paquin, Vickie (Dave) Ylkanen; many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services Tuesday, July 1 at 2PM at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
