Ruth Rensch

Rensch Ruth, age 91 of Linwood Twp. Born at home in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 11, 1910. The Lord gently picked her up and took her to Heaven on June 2, 2002. She graduated University of Nebraska with a degree in Physical Education. Married Bob Rensch in 1936. Moved to Mpls in 1942. She loved Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was a very active member. She was active in training volunteer Girl Scouts. She loved camping and was very instrumental in getting the girls to go to Camp Ajawah. She was a very caring and wonderful person and was everyone's friend. Preceded in death by husband, 1 brother, and 2 sisters. Survived by 2 daughters, Heidi Shinn of Washington, DC, and Helen Rensch of Linwood Twp.; 3 grandchildren, Liz (Steve) Stigall of Washington, DC, Robert (Dr. Laurie) Shinn of Richmond, VA, and Jason Rensch of Linwood Twp; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylin, Emily, and Conner. Funeral Service Thursday 7 PM @ Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Private Interment. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 PM @ the Funeral Home Chapel.
