James W. Stowell

Stowell James W., age 83, of Mendota Heights, on June 22, 2003. Survived by wife, Doe; children, Sandra Stowell and her son, Wilber S. Johnson, Polly and her fiance', Tom Clancy, James C. and his wife, Stephanie; brother, Bob Stowell and wife, Nancy, their sons, Bill and David; Bill and Shirley Peck, their sons, Jeff and Dave. Also survived by Doe's children, Roddie Turner and husband, Louis, their children, Chase, Mills, Melley and Lark, Tory Hauser and wife, Tina, their children, Lindsey and Drew, Cathy Hauser and partner, Nancy Braymeier, Jim retired from Archer Daniels Midland after 51 fulfilling years. He loved his family, friends, golf, telling a good story, Diet Rite, chocolate ice cream, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and his 1952 tractor. But most of all-he loved life. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; daughters, Patricia and Ann and his parents. Mass of Christian burial 11 am, Wednesday at ST. STANISLAUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 398 Superior St. at W. 7th St., St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior to services at church Wednesday. Private family burial Calvary Cemetery.
