Olson ATTN: SHEET METAL LOCAL 10 Gale D. Olson, age 84, of Ham Lake, passed away on 8/18/05. Beloved husband of Ethel; brother of Arvil (Esther) Olson; father of Joann Olson, Gary (Teresa) Olson, Rick (Marni) Olson; grandfather of Angela Olson, Alisha (Brant) Freeburg, John (Crista) Olson and Korrina Olson; great-grandfather of Tanner and Chase Freeburg. Born in Glenwood, MN, member of Sheet Metal Local #10, worked at Adelsman Co., Fergus Falls, MN beginning at the age of 15. Owner of Olson Heating Service in Bemidji, MN, worked for Home Builders in Morris, MN, Jarnig Plumbing & Heating of Anoka, Sasco in New Brighton. Retired from the University of MN Physical Plant in 1985. Gale served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed woodworking and cabinetry and anything else that would keep him busy in the garage. Gale's greatest joy came from his faith and his family. He will be missed dearly. Memorials preferred to American Heart Assoc. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens. Service Sunday 3:00 PM at Meadow Creek Church, 3037 NW Bunker Lake Blvd., Andover.
