Edith Julia Carlson
Carlson Edith Julia Carlson, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2005. She reached 100 blessed years on June 6, 2005. Lovingly cared for by the staff at Alterra of Eagan for the past seven years. Formerly of Golden Valley. Preceded in death by beloved husband Lawrence A. Carlson, Sr. and son Lawrence A. Carlson Jr., two daughters-in-law, parents, and seven brothers & sisters. Survived by two daughters, Virginia Frandsen (Raymond) of Mpls and Joyce Massahos (Nick) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Richard Carlson (Cindy) of Chanhassen, Cindy Carlson, Iowa, Gary Carlson (Julie), Colorado, Gordon Frandsen (Julie), Edina, Marlys Tamte (Mark), Mpls, Gail Hall (Charles), St. Louis Park, Tom Massahos (Sue), Eden Prairie, Nancy Kaveney (Mike), Eden Prairie; 15 great grandchildren, one niece and nephew. Mother, Gram, and Great-Gram will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Service 10:30 AM Thursday at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Rd, Mpls, MN 55427.
