Carolyn Eleanore Nelson

Nelson Carolyn Eleanore, age 64, Ramsey, MN, died Monday, June 16 at Methodist Hospital from complications due to a brain trauma. Preceded in death by parents, Bertha & Arne Carlson; father- in-law, Orrie Nelson; uncles, Willard Salo and Elmer Salo. Survived by husband, Rodney Nelson; son, Troy Stack-Nelson & wife Judy; grandchildren, Linda & Michael Stack-Nelson; brother, Harold Carlson & wife Marleen and their children Heidi and Jim; sister, Lenore Grinolds & husband Sam and their children Josh and Jessica ("Cookie"); brother, Mark Carlson; uncle, Allen Salo & wife Sandra; mother-in-law, Florence Nelson; step- mother, Ann Carlson; several cousins; countless co-workers and friends. Memorial service to be held Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at 7:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka, MN, 1601 4th Ave. S. There will be no interment. Carolyn's body was donated to the University of Minnesota for medical research. Memorial preferences: Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka; Opportunity Partners, Minnetonka; American Heart Association; Minnehaha Academy, Minneapolis. The family prefers memorials over flowers.
