Wilson John (Jack) M. Wilson, D.D.S. Born January 3, 1921, in Bismarck, ND, and died July 7, 2005, in Minneapolis, MN. Jack grew up in Fargo, ND, graduating in 1939, from Fargo High School. He attended NDAC (NDSU) for two years prior to enlisting in the US Navy where he served as a pilot and flight instructor stationed in Corpus Christi, TX, during WWII. He married Margaret McCarty on June 5, 1943. After graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1950, he and Margaret returned to Fargo where he practiced until his retirement in 1996. He is preceded in death by Margaret, the mother of his children, his sister, Pat Offutt, and his grandson, Evan McCarty Wilson. He is survived by his children: Mary Patricia Lempke, John M. Wilson III (Ann Kulenkamp), Mark M. Wilson, D.D.S., Robert J. Wilson and Margaret (Meg) E. Coccia (Mike Coccia), seven grandchildren, including his special caregiver, Kirsten Lempke, and three great-grandchildren. Jack was involved in many Fargo fraternal oganizations including the Fargo Elks Club, the Elks Club Motor Patrol and Sertoma. Jack's family wishes to thank the staff at the Minnesota Veteran's Home for their care of "Doc" over the last few years. A memorial service will be held at Hanson- Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo on Saturday, July 23, 2005, at 11 am. Memorials preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
